Whale Watching in Monterey, California

On the way back from our recent visit to San Francisco we spent a night in Monterey. It’s less than 2 hours down the coast from SF and feels worlds apart. A Day At Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah

During our visit to Zion (you can read about our first day here), we spent the second day of our trip visiting Bryce Canyon, another National Park in Utah. We stayed in the town of Springdale for easy access to Zion, which was then just under 2 hours drive to Bryce.

Palm Springs, San Diego & Halloween – October 2017

I’ve already written about the beginning of October where we saw Coldplay and the Foo Fighters in one weekend but the rest of the month was so busy I thought I would do a bit of a round up in one post. The husband spent most of the month back in the UK, and I had one of my closest friends come out to visit for 10 days.

Yosemite National Park Day 3 – Mirror Lake

Our third and final day in Yosemite was a short one as we had a 6 hour drive home. So this post is going to be a lot shorter than my previous two. We knew we would only have a few hours in the park which is why we packed so much in to the first 2 days.
