Hiking ‘The Narrows’ Zion National Park, Utah

The first weekend in November we visited Zion National Park in Utah. The first day we spent exploring some of the easier, shorter hikes in the park (you can read about those here) and the second day we took the 2 hour trip to Bryce Canyon National Park (blog post on that here). Our third and final day we saved for hiking ‘The Narrows’ in Zion.

A Day At Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah

During our visit to Zion (you can read about our first day here), we spent the second day of our trip visiting Bryce Canyon, another National Park in Utah. We stayed in the town of Springdale for easy access to Zion, which was then just under 2 hours drive to Bryce.

Zion National Park, Utah

For ages I’ve wanted to go to Zion National Park. Ever since we drove all the way through Utah in February to go skiing in Park City. We’ve had such a busy summer and it was difficult to find the time to fit it in so a while ago I earmarked the first weekend in November for the trip and booked it in.

Los Angeles Rock N Roll Half Marathon

At the beginning of this year I could barely run a mile. Not that I wasn’t keeping fit but running has never been something I feel I’ve been any good at. After being encouraged by my friend to sign up to a 5K wine run in March (you can read about it here) for some crazy reason I then decided to join them in the Los Angeles Rock N Roll Half Marathon on the 29th October.
